Cobb-Marietta has their Diamond Ball at the Strand on April 18th. To
get you in the mood we are tasting some real “gems” from Emerald
Bay, Jade Mountain and Jewel Wineries. So pull out all that fabulous
“BLING” you have in your closet and jewelry chest and deck yourself
out for a tasting with “April Fool's” rich and famous. Real or Fake,
come dazzle us.

At the Earl
Smith Strand Theatre
The Junior League of Cobb-Marietta will honor
the past and embrace the future at the “Diamond Ball - Celebrating 75
years of Service to Cobb County”. The event will be held on the evening
of April 18 at the
newly restored Earl Smith Strand Theatre on the Marietta Square.
The evening, celebrating the contributions of the League's Past
Presidents, features live entertainment, an elegant cocktail buffet by
Carriage House Catering, beer and wine and a signature Diamond-tini,
created just for the occasion. Guests who purchase a glass of champagne
for $25 will have a chance at a spectacular one-carat, brilliant-cut
diamond. The dazzling gem was generously donated by Belk. The event's
attire is cocktail/black tie optional beginning at 7:00pm. Tickets are
$40 for one or $75 per couple.

The Mistletoe Market is a three-day holiday gift shopping
extravaganza. Held each October, it hosts more than 50 unique vendors
from all across the nation featuring fabulous gifts, accessories,
gourmet food and decorative items for men, women and children. Mistletoe
Market is the primary fundraising effort for the Junior League of
Cobb-Marietta and its community projects. The Junior League of
Cobb-Marietta receives tremendous support from businesses and
individuals in the Cobb County area who sponsor Mistletoe Market by
donating time, services, products or funding.
