REALTORS FOR PETS

Right now, our furry friends need us more than ever as they are increasingly being left behind in the foreclosure wave that is sweeping across America. People are losing their homes. Landlords aren't allowing pets. The shelters are over-run.

The end result is that wonderful, adoptable dogs and cats, puppies and kittens are being destroyed simply because there are not enough homes. Real estate professionals are often the first to know that a pet is at risk of being abandoned or turned into a shelter.

Now, there is a way for real estate professionals to help pets AND to help their business at the same time.
RealtorsForPets.com was created to assist families with their pets in buying and selling homes.

RealtorsForPets.com is a network of real estate professionals and people associated with the home buying process - attorneys, appraisers, mortgage brokers, home warranty people, etc. - "soldiers" on the front lines, who can step in and help pet owners with the myriad of issues involved in selling or buying a home when pets are involved

Operation Happy Socks

Operation Happy Sock creates and delivers catnip toys to homeless cats in animal shelters. Our volunteers make simple toys, called "Happy Socks," by putting catnip in the toe of an old sock and tying a knot at the ankle.

             WE NEED YOUR SOCKS!

We welcome donated socks that meet these guidelines:

• Clean – please run them through the washer first.

• Sweat socks and fuzzy socks are terrific!

• Any size (baby and kids’ sizes too) are welcome.

• Thin synthetics or nylons aren’t durable enough.

• Even socks with holes are fine – we are experts at making a toy from almost any sock!
